During the ISCRAM 2007 conference, a number of very good presentations have been made ranging from GeoAnalytics by Brian Tomaszewski at Penn State, Humanitarian Relief Work on a global scale by Eric Rasmussen, to all sorts of discussions on Pandemics, open-source tools and local efforts on improving the capabilities of managing disasters. ISCRAM 2007 did also provide very valuable opportunities to network with people from a variety of disciplines. My concluding remark on ISCRAM 2007 is that it was a very successful conference. I am really looking forward for the ISCRAM 2008 conference held at the George Washington University in US, in the early of May next year.
