This week, I have visited SINTEF in Norway as a guest researcher in their EMERGENCY project. I have had three great and sunny days in Fredrikstad together with Keitil Stölen and his research group. My role was to learn more about their work in the field of emergency response and provide feedback to the PhD-fellows work. The Emergency-project is a user-driven innovation project and includes both end-user organizations as well as industrial partners. It is always very valauble to meet new researchers and discuss the challenges in doing research in the domain of emergency response. This meeting was a good start for setting up a more long-term collaboration between the Crisis Response Lab and Keitils group at Sintef.
