My work in a condensed format

From time to time, people ask me what I do as a researcher working in a department named Applied IT. I try to answer this question by saying that my work is oriented on improving the work-conditions for people responsible for emergency and crisis response. I know that this is perhaps not the very best answer. But still, it captures the core issue that all my professional energy is focused on.
